- The user may have been inactive in the portfolio and their session timed out. The user should sign out and sign back in to see if the portfolio tool is now working.

- The user may be signed in on multiple devices. The user should sign out of their portfolio account on all devices then log into one device.

- This means the portfolio system has an administrative issue that cannot be resolved by the user.
- If the problem persists, contact stem-innovator@uiowa.edu. Clarify what you were doing when you got this message. We will notify the portfolio coding company so they can resolve this issue.

- Another reason this may be occurring is the student is not assigned to a team by the teacher. Students must be assigned to a team to complete the Pitch, TVR, Canvas, and Prototype assignments since these are team-related assignments.

- The educator should check the assignment window is still open for submissions. If the assignment end date has passed, it will not allow students access to that portfolio assignment.

- Both teachers must have a STEM Innovator® Portfolio account under the same district name. The portfolio system does not allow a teacher to invite another outside their district.
- Email stem-innovator@uiowa.edu if the teacher you are trying to add has a portfolio account in your district, and it still won’t let you add them.
- Why do I see multiple TVR feedback from the same person?

- Feedback can duplicate due to “submit” being clicked multiple times, likely due to poor internet connection.
- The teacher has the ability to delete a TVR student submission if needed.
- Why do duplicate assignments appear after I add one?
