OSCAR v3.4.501
Bug Fixes:
- Imported rubrics now order sub-traits correctly within trait groups.
- Responses stored on external S3 buckets (like .xlsm files) can be downloaded when the role permission for response printing is on.
New Features:
- Custom Scoring:
- OSCAR supports live observation scoring allowing “forms” to be imported manually or via API. Live observation scoring works in “sessions” that can be imported and returns scores as section totals (sections are defined on the form).
- Quality Control (QC) Updates:
- QC sets can be downloaded into single .csv file from QC setup using the “export to csv” button. The export will include all sets for a selected Section and Item.
- QC sets can also be uploaded through QC setup using the “import responses” button. The user will be provided a template when using the import button and can create sets within any section and item in the tenant. Individual set options like pass threshold should still be configured using the “edit set” tool.
- QC sets can now be shared externally to non-OSCAR users and viewed in a version that is browser print-friendly using the “document view” feature. Selecting the options for a QC set in QC setup, the user will see an option for “document view.” When using this tool, the user can create a link that will expire after a certain number of uses, a duration of time, or will be available indefinitely.
- From QC Reporting, users can now download QC reports into a .csv format using the “export list” button.
- Users also have a new option in QC reporting to “delete record & scores” for a user’s results on a set. This will reset the user status on the set to “not started” so that they will be able begin another set of the same type without finishing a set they’ve started. This is unlike the “reset set” option, though both options will erase previous results on the set, in that resetting a set will send the user to the “in progress” state, meaning they will still need to complete the given set.
- Using a new Role Permission, QC counts can be included in the score totals a user sees in their personal dashboard. To enable, go to Roles and under “dashboard” select “show QC score counts.”
- View Tools and Hot Buttons:
- When view options and the highlighting/annotation tool are turned on under Item Settings>View, a user can now move the view tools to the right or left of the screen while scoring by clicking on the triangle above the view option buttons.
- Additionally, view options now have hotkeys associated with them. Users can see what these are by hovering over the button and reading the tooltip.
- The Scoring panel can also now be controlled via hotkeys so that the mouse is no longer required to apply scores. Users can hit “Tab” to cycle through the traits and other scoring panel buttons, left and right arrows or the corresponding number on the number pad to choose a score, and “Enter” to select a button like “submit score.”
- Html Support:
- OSCAR can now accept responses in .html file format. These can be loaded manually through Auditing or imported via API. When doing so, users have the option to select the aspect ratio the file will be displayed in (height and width values).
-
- Users can also upload .html content packages as .zip files to the Resources of an item through Item Setup>Resources. This feature enables html content to be rendered within OSCAR. The aspect ratio can also be defined when uploading to ensure the resolution matches the given content.
- New Response Types
- OSCAR will now support macro-enabled excel files or .xlsm files.
- File types not supported by OSCAR can now be uploaded or imported via API as a “force download” response type. This will appear as a downloadable link for users while Scoring where the response would normally appear. This option is also available for response types that OSCAR supports.
- Assigned Scoring
- When using the “assigned delivery” option under Item Setup>Scoring Setup, users can now choose to have assigned responses to “deliver in either order.” This allows assigned scorers to apply a first or second score, regardless of the score type that was defined when the response was assigned.
