Overview
Using the Find Existing Passage feature, the author does not need to re-create the same passage again and again. Instead, it is possible to re-use the same passage among multiple Items.
In order to re-use a passage, it must be first created as a Passage.
Adding a Passage to An Item
Have your Item open and click on the Add Passage button found at the top of the page. You may want to already have your item columns defined, so you can place the Passage where it belongs on the Item.

Clicking this button will navigate to a bank of all passages created in your organization. Search by some keywords from the passage or Search By Item to find it.

To add a passage to the Item click the Select button to the right of the passage blurb.
Editing a Shared Passage
Editing a passage will modify the passage in every Item it is shared in.
When you open a Passage that is shared among more than one Item in the Question Editor, you will see a warning highlighted in yellow at the top of the Question Editor:

As always make sure you are saving the Item after making edits to it.
