The students in your school or classes may change after you have already created a test administration. The ADAM Scan feature facilitates maintaining accurate rosters and student accommodations within a test administration.
Updated class and accommodation information will flow into the test administration until a student starts their testing session.
Test Administration Notification
When we notice a discrepancy between class rosters and test administration rosters, a flag is displayed on the test administration.
This document explains the two methods of updating existing test administrations:
- Fully automated updates
- Manually initiated updates
Fully Automated Updates
Once 'Auto Rescan Administrations' is enabled in System | Client Settings, ADAM automates the process of updating test administrations every 30 minutes. All non-started sessions are included in this process.
Manually Initiated Updates
If the automated updates are not enabled, or if you need to update a test administration between the automation schedule...you can use the 'Scan New Students' option on the test administration card. This option is enabled/disabled through role permissions.
- Navigate in ADAM to the test administration card (Test Management | Administrations).
- Click on the three vertical dots in the top right of the test administration card.
- Select 'Scan New Students'.
- Review the changes in the number of Proctor Groups and Students. If this is satisfactory, Click the OK button to process the test administration update. Else click the Cancel button to return to the test administration without processing the update.
- Your test administrations are now updated.
